Design pendant light Kupoli from the 1960s This pendant light, which was created by Finnish designer Yki Nummi in the 1960s, proves that old doesn't necessarily have to be bad. Today, the light is experiencing a revival, which can mainly be explained by its timeless design. The dome-shaped lampshade of the Kupoli pendant light (Finnish for dome) is made of white acrylic, allowing the light to shine gently upwards and to the sides. There is a simple yet elegant aluminium detail at the transition from the lampshade to the suspension system. The Finnish manufacturer Innolux produces lights that impress with their timeless Scandinavian design. The manufacturer's designers include famous designers from the 1950s and 1960s as well as young Finnish designers from the 21st century.
