Designer hanging light RD2SQ by Steve Jones When you read the name of this hanging light for the first time, you might think it's the famous droid R2D2 from Star Wars. But of course this is not the case. The abbreviation RD2SQ simply stands for "round to square", an explanation of the hanging light's form, namely from round to square. The textile shade starts at the top with a round cross-section and ends at the bottom at the light outlet with a square one. An opal acrylic diffuser at the light outlet ensures glare-free and softly diffused light distribution. The RD2SQ model is a design by Steven Jones for Innermost, a company that he founded together with Russell Cameron in London in 1999. International designers create lights and furniture for Innermost, giving the company and its products a cosmopolitan and innovative flair. RD2SQ can be used with E27 bulbs up to a maximum of 15 W (e.g. compact fluorescent bulbs or LED bulbs).
