‘When you buy light, you give light’ – this phrase figuratively describes the support provided by the Dutch manufacturer IT'S ABOUT ROMI through its sustainable brand, Good & Mojo. They support the WakaWaka Foundation, which raises funds to provide solar products to families in need who have no access to the electricity grid. Furthermore, GOOD & MOJO plants one tree for every light sold, as they have been a partner of Eden Reforestation Projects since 2019 and have already planted over 35,000 trees.

Alongside this valuable work, their sustainable ethos is particularly reflected in the products themselves, most of which are named after mountains, rivers and distinctive regions. One such example is the Andes wall light, whose frame is made entirely of bamboo – a fast-growing raw material that can be harvested repeatedly and produces significantly more oxygen than trees. Added to this is a cylindrical, naturally green lampshade made from eco-linen, which requires less water and fewer chemicals to grow than cotton.

The natural-coloured frame is fitted with a practical switch and a shelf on which various items can be placed. The texture of the linen lampshade ensures that a diffused, pleasant light is emitted.
