Foscarini Twiggy Grid XL - LED table lamp for indoors and outdoors The Twiggy Grid XL LED table lamp is a new edition of the popular Twiggy indoor lamp series, which found its way into the range of the Venetian lighting manufacturer Foscarini in 2006. With Twiggy Grid, the family has been expanded to include two weather-resistant versions that can now also be used outdoors. Twiggy Grid XL takes up the classic table lamp form, but at the same time makes an individual statement with its net-like lampshade. The LED light source is installed in the upper part of the lampshade, from where the light is gently diffused downwards and can be distributed all around thanks to the wide-meshed shade. The LED table lamp is still made by hand. Liquid-coated glass fibre composite material is woven by hand around a cylindrical shape and then also painted by hand. The metal base is coated with polyester powder coating, making it particularly UV, weather and even chemical resistant. The supply cable, which is suitable for outdoor use, has an IP44 protection rating, while the light itself has an IP64 rating up to the clamping socket. The Twiggy Grid XL is particularly suitable for use on the patio or balcony, where it stylishly illuminates a cosy barbecue evening with friends. Naturally, it can also be used indoors.
