Foscarini Tress - glass fibre wall light The characteristic feature that runs through all products in the Tress family from Foscarini is the braided structure of the lampshade. The semi-circular lampshade of the Tress wall light is also made of high-quality glass fibre composite material, which is wrapped by hand around a rotating cylinder in the form of a narrow ribbon to create an artistic weave. Individual ribbons running diagonally from top to bottom or from bottom to top break up the otherwise quite symmetrical, horizontal course and create differently shaped light outlets. The light source concealed behind the lampshade not only casts its light gently upwards and downwards onto the wall, but also through the gaps in the wickerwork into the room. This creates an atmospheric, graphic interplay of light and shadow that is reflected on the surrounding walls. The Tress wall light was designed by Marc Sadler not only to enhance private interiors, but also for commercial use, for example in hotel corridors.
