Foscarini Tress - glass fibre pendant light In addition to the fascinating appearance of the Tress pendant light, which catches the eye at first glance, the creation process and the story behind it are the hallmarks of this family of lights. In fact, Marc Sadler was inspired by the seductive look of a braided plait to design the Tress series. Fibreglass and synthetic resin served as the starting materials for the realisation of his design concept. A ribbon made from both materials is wound by hand in random order during the production process. The result is a body that is completely closed in some areas and has light outlets in other areas, giving it the character of wickerwork. The pendant light was designed to provide direct, spot lighting for a smaller area below the light. It is therefore ideally placed above a dining or living room table, naturally integrated into a design-oriented interior style. "Fare Luce" - this is the motto of the Venice-based design lighting manufacturer Foscarini. During the design and production process, Foscarini merges the world of creation (fare) and the world of light (luce) to create top-class lighting objects.
