Foscarini Rituals XL – glass pendant lamp with E27 LED bulb, dimmable

The Rituals XL pendant light combines the delicate character of traditional Japanese paper lanterns with high-quality, handblown glass. The Rituals lamp family has been enriching the range of renowned design lamp manufacturer Foscarini from Venice since 2013. The XL version catches the eye with its particularly large, spherical glass shade, whose surface is adorned with a filigree pattern of horizontal lines. During the production process, the glass remains firmly in the mould and is not rotated. The characteristic striped pattern is created by negative structures in the mould, which are visible on the surface of the glass. The glass body is then filed by hand and immersed in an acid bath. Thanks to its plaster-like effect and the gentle translucency of its glass shade, the Rituals XL pendant light guarantees harmonious, glare-free basic lighting for all kinds of living spaces.

The pendant light comes with an E27 LED retrofit bulb that is TRIAC dimmable.

The couple Ludovica + Roberto Palomba are known for creating products that owners can engage with directly. The two founded their own studio in Milan in 1994 and have designed not only the Rituals series for Foscarini, but also the Birdie, Gregg and Tartan models.
