Foscarini Chouchin Bianco 1 Pendant Light E27

Foscarini Chouchin Bianco 1 single-glass pendant light in the style of a white lantern

The Chouchin Bianco 1 pendant light from the Italian lighting brand Foscarini was designed by the French designer Ionna Vautrin. Japanese lanterns – such as those made from paper or bamboo and hung as illuminated signs outside restaurants or as good-luck charms outside homes – inspired Vautrin to design this series of lights, which comprises various shapes in different sizes and colours. Each lampshade is made of blown glass and hangs from a steel cable suspension with a transparent power cable. Tables, counters and many other areas in private homes, as well as in the catering and hospitality sectors, can be illuminated in a very harmonious way with the Chouchin pendant light from Foscarini – it also looks superb when mounted in clusters.

In the Chouchin Bianco 1 pendant light, the opal glass forms the entire lampshade, so that the light is emitted not only directly downwards through the opening but also all around, providing soft general lighting. The product is supplied with a warm white LED bulb with an E27 base.
