Foscarini Chouchin 1 – elegant LED pendant light in the style of Japanese lanterns

French designer Ionna Vautrin drew inspiration from the appearance, poetry and magic of Japanese lanterns when designing the Chouchin series from Foscarini. The result is three different Chouchin models that vary in shape and colour. They can be used individually or combined in an ensemble, creating a real eye-catcher for any room.

The Chouchin 1 impresses with its warm orange colour, which contrasts beautifully with the white lower section. The body of the light is made of handblown and lacquered glass. The colour is intense, brilliant and completely opaque. Light only escapes from the lower opening, turning the lower part into a glowing ring of light. The direct lighting effect makes the Chouchin 1 LED pendant light ideal for dining tables, bars or counters. It distributes a soft, warm light, creating a special and appealing atmosphere.
