Foscarini Birdie LED piccola - table lamp for a diffuse lighting ambience The Birdie LED piccola table lamp not only makes a statement with its purist yet unusual design, but also with the lighting ambience with which it fills its surroundings. Made of translucent polycarbonate, the conically shaped lampshade creates a diffuse lighting atmosphere while at the same time diffusing direct light downwards. The touch dimmer, with which Birdie LED piccola can not only be switched on and off but also gradually dimmed, is located on the Filigran branch that protrudes diagonally from the shaft and justifies the association of this table lamp with a tree. The renowned Italian lighting manufacturer Foscarini is known for creating unusual, first-class lighting objects. Once a coherent design concept has been developed, no expense or effort is spared in realising it. This is how the Birdie lighting series was created in 2011 under the direction of the two designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba.
