Foscarini Binic – table lamp in a colourful design

The Binic table lamp by Foscarini immediately captivates with its appealing shape and colourful appearance. The small village of Binic in Brittany, France, was the inspiration for the name of this table lamp. Ionna Vautrin, the French designer of the light, has always been fascinated by the Breton world of sailors and has expressed this fascination in the design of the light. In fact, the shape of the light is vaguely reminiscent of a lighthouse, which has always guided sailors along the coast.

Like a lighthouse, the Binic table lamp with its relatively large light outlet covered by a satin-finished polycarbonate diffuser provides an intense, cone-shaped beam of light. The light head, which is angled downwards, not only fulfils its purpose of direct light distribution, but also symbolises a friendly gesture of affection, making the light instantly appealing.

With its modern character, Binic appeals to young and old alike and will never look out of place, as the table lamp can be set up in a wide variety of locations – in the office as an additional light source, in the living room on a shelf or even in the children's room as a colourful eye-catcher.
