Hand-blown glass elements combined with modern LED technology – Noctambule floor lamp

Noctambule translates as night owl or night bird and is embodied in its design by the LED floor lamp of the same name. Designer Konstantin Grcic has placed cylindrical elements made of handblown glass on a round Basis and combined them with LED light between the elements, creating a total work of art that appears almost invisible during the day. However, as soon as the lighting is switched on, a warm glow is created that is reflected by the glass, producing an extraordinary light pattern.

This glamorous designer light integrates particularly well into modern and minimalist interiors and, when lit, becomes an absolute eye-catcher in the room.

A single glass element is reminiscent of a lantern. It is the basic element of every Noctambule light, which consists of a varying number of elements and a Basis. The power cord and the pedal switch installed on it are used to switch the light on and off and to dim the brightness from ten to 100 per cent and vice versa.

The Noctambule series of lights is produced by the Italian manufacturer FLOS, which has been internationally renowned for its ideas on artificial lighting and new concepts since the 1960s.
