High-contrast highlight: Skynest LED pendant light with mesh structure, Ra90, warm white The lampshade, designed in the style of a basket, gives the Skynest LED pendant light its special character. Starting from the centre in the upper part of the dome, the struts criss-cross downwards, where they end in an encased aluminium ring. The struts themselves are also covered in recycled polyester textile, with special struts running between them, each with an integrated LED trunking light. The light is directed exclusively inwards, while the outside is also covered with polyester fabric. This creates a powerful contrast between dark and illuminated elements inside the dome. High-quality LEDs are integrated as standard and emit warm white light. The built-in electronics are suitable for external dimming with various 1-10V, DALI and PUSH-Dimmable systems. The canopy is painted to match the colour of the lampshade. In addition, a special system in the suspension of the lampshade ensures the necessary balance. Skynest was created for FLOS by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders and attracts attention even when switched off. Note: To be dimmable, the connection must be made via a 5-core cable. If connected with 3 wires, only switching on and off is possible.
