Dimmable LED floor lamp Captain Flint made of brass for outdoor use

After the floor lamp Captain Flint had success for indoor use, the designer Michael Anastassiades thought about how to adapt their materials and surfaces so that Captain Flint can also be used outdoors. Without further ado, the outdoor luminaire was born, its structures machined to provide high resistance to weathering.

Its graceful frame made of brass is supported by a solid and stable base made of marble, which reflects the character of the marble stone in a natural gray tone. Thanks to the long supply line, the lamp can be placed flexibly and cuts just as good a figure on the terrace as in the entrance area or along a path in the garden. The cone-shaped shade is made opaque all around and radiates the light directly downwards. It is mounted on a horizontal rod and can be moved up to 315°, allowing the light beam to be directed as desired. To create an atmospheric ambience, the floor lamp can not only be switched on and off via the integrated switch, but also dimmed.

The designer Michael Anastassiades, who comes from Cyprus, has already been working for several years for the Italian company FLOS, which has its origins in 1960 and was founded with the idea of creating objects that change lives both in Italy and in other countries.
