The round die-cast aluminium housing includes a prismatic acrylic diffuser that appears clear when switched off. When in operation, 57% of the light directed to the side is emitted downwards and 43% upwards, providing both task and ambient lighting. Thanks to its good glare control (UGR < 19), Appareo can also be used above computer workstations.
