Function before aesthetics - Beddy A/04 LED wall light incl. USB port and two shelves The Beddy A/04 LED wall light was developed by designer Danos Salgados for a specific purpose, namely as a reading lamp to illuminate a specific area. The warm white light of the LEDs is emitted through a white diffuser and creates a cosy illumination of a limited area without disturbing other people. The light can be individually directed thanks to a small lever on the head of the luminaire, which can be rotated by 350 degrees. With Beddy, the purpose takes centre stage. It enables electronic devices to be charged thanks to the integrated USB port, while at the same time providing space on two shelves for reading material or small electronic devices. The LED light source is switched on and off using the installed toggle switch. For designer Danos Salgados, aesthetics is never the end goal, yet with Beddy A/04 he achieves a certain emotionality that delights the user. It is designed according to the Japanese principle of simplicity and is ideal as a bedside table lamp in minimalist furnished private rooms or hotel rooms. The Beddy luminaire series was designed for the Spanish luminaire manufacturer Bover.
