Made from ceramic and fabric – the Torso table lamp in black and white
The Torso table lamp is a prime example of the fine art of creating a harmonious whole from contrasting elements. The base of the lamp is designed as a rounded vessel in glossy, glazed black ceramic. The lampshade, on the other hand, is made from a textured white linen fabric, forming a truncated cone defined by clean lines. The characteristics of the lampshade and base are shown to their best advantage when the light is switched on. The light is dimmable to three different levels using the brass touch switch on the lampshade.
