Artemide Gople pendant light

Gople designer pendant light - a colourful, transparent work of art made of Glas The glass shade of the Gople pendant light is handmade using an old Venetian technique. During the blowing process, white Glas is gradually transformed into crystal glass, making each light unique. The coloured surface finish is produced using an innovative metal vacuum deposition process. The glass finish is designed to shield the light source - the bulb used - and to maximise the direct emission of light through transparency. Gople is a designer light from BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), an association of designers, architects and thinkers working in the fields of architecture, urban planning, research and development with offices in Copenhagen and New York. The group has made a name for itself through innovative, resource-conscious work and projects such as the Danish Maritime Museum (2013), the 8 House (2010) and Copenhagen's Harbour Bath. Current projects include the Vancouver House Tower, the LEGO Brand House in Denmark and West 57th, a 750-unit residential complex in Manhattan. A product handcrafted in Italy by Artemide.
