Decorative hanging light Original 1227 Maxi in industrial design The Original 1227 Maxi hanging light is twice the size of its smaller counterpart, the Original 1227. However, it is not only its size that makes it particularly eye-catching, but above all its traditional Anglepoise® design, which was created by George Carwardine in the 1930s. Original 1227 Maxi, launched in 2012, presents the same shade shape as the Anglepoise® work light, which the English industrial designer Carwardine patented in 1932. The Original 1227 Maxi hanging light emits targeted light directly downwards, pleasantly illuminating a dining table, for example. It looks very decorative when placed alone, but when hung in a row it emphasises an industrial-style living environment even more impressively.
