The optional VitaUp feature uses controlled UVB light to support natural vitamin D production in everyday life and, thanks to its automatic shut-off function and a lifespan of approx. 25,000 hours of exceptional comfort in everyday use. According to Signify, no additional sun protection is required if the product is installed correctly, as it has been classified as a zero-risk product.

using the Skylight remote controlThe remote control allows you to operate Skylight conveniently and intuitively. The ON/OFF button allows you to switch the light on or off at any time with ease. The ‘Auto Rhythm’ function is available to provide an automatically adjusted daylight cycle; provided that the automatic daily rhythm is activated, it automatically adjusts the lighting changes, thereby supporting the natural daily routine. In addition, the remote control offers various lighting modes to suit different situations and needs: the brightness can also be adjusted as required: the ‘Dim down’ function dims the light in steps or continuously when the button is held down, whilst ‘Dim up’ increases the brightness accordingly.

The Philips Skylight advanced remote control, featuring a built-in VitaUp module to help the body produce vitamin D, offers all the standard functions plus a dedicated ‘VitaUp’ button.
