The BL7 wall light with plug by Gubi – Design: Robert Dudley Best
The BL7 wall light can be used anywhere where there is no power cable in the wall but where the light of a wall light is desired. For this purpose, the light is equipped with a plug cable for connection to a power point. The BL7 is switched on and off via a switch directly on the wall mount.
BL7 is part of the famous Bestlite series of lights designed in 1930 by British industrial designer Robert Dudley Best (1892 - 1984). It impresses with its functionality and simple, elegant appearance, modelled on the Bauhaus style. The timeless metal shade is attached via a ball joint, which allows it to be rotated and swivelled.
Since 2004, Gubi, a Danish manufacturer of high-quality lighting and furniture, has been producing the Bestlite lights.
