Filigran and flexible - the Tolomeo Mega floor lamp It is its delicate design that catches the eye at first glance. The frame of the Tolomeo Mega floor lamp looks very delicate, is barely noticeable and therefore draws the focus directly to the conically shaped lampshade. The highlight here is the sophisticated technology in the light's frame. Flexible joints ensure that the floor lamp can be adjusted in height or length as required. The length can be adjusted to a total of 1.86 metres and the height to an incredible 3.27 metres. An innovative cable pull system provides the necessary stability and ensures that the selected position remains as it is. The lampshade is also flexible and can be individually rotated. It can be rotated to any required angle using the attached metal handle. Another plus is the floor lamp's dimmability, which is easy to operate using a sliding dimmer with a separate off button. The sophisticated design and the associated mechanism are the work of the two architects and designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, who created the Tolomeo luminaire range, which is still successful and popular today. The Tolomeo Mega floor lamp is no exception and was even honoured with the Red Dot Award in 2013.
