Dahl retro hanging lamp with a glass lampshade
The Dahl hanging light is simply named after its created: Birger Dahl. The Norwegian designer lived from 1916 to 1998. To mark his hundredth birthday, Northern Light brought one of his models onto the market, which he developed as early as 1956. Dahl originally designed the hanging light for the Norwegian parliament, which was being renovated at that time.
Dahl’s glass lampshade has a timeless design. It is handblown and has a smooth and matt surface thanks to a special processing technique. The opal colour of the lampshade not only produces a classic and timeless appearance, but also causes the light to be emitted evenly and without glare.
