Softly shimmering table lamp Lantern Globe made of opal glass with dimming function

A fluted opal glass shade in spherical shape and a discreet steel base in black form the design of the table lamp Lantern Globe, which is a design object of the renowned manufactory New Works. When designing the lamp, the two artists Anderssen & Voll were inspired by a traditional Chinese rice paper lantern, which is 100% reflected in the design of the Lantern Globe lamp. Especially the round opal glass shade with its fluted surface provides a light and weightless lantern look. The light is also gently dimmed by the shade, as with a real rice paper lantern, and radiated evenly into the room. Without glare, the lamp thus accentuates its surroundings and provides a cozy atmosphere. For individual brightness control, a dimmer has been installed (only suitable for the use of dimmable lamps).
