The illuminant in the LED ceiling lamp Djembé C 42.13 are powerful SMD LEDs that produce warm white light. A gray painted diffuser made of aluminum is mounted below the LED module and ensures glare-free light output. The inside of the shade is white and smooth, which provides good reflection and thus good illumination. At the same time, it visually gives Djembé a certain lightness, which serves as a contrast to its imposing appearance.

From the outside, this bell-shaped ceiling lamp looks massive not only because of its stately volume. This impression is also supported by its structured surface, which resembles stone. The different surface effects inside and outside are achieved by the so-called centrifugal casting process, in which Djembé is made of polyethylene. Especially in combination, several of these ceiling luminaires, designed for use in public areas by industrial designer Joan Gaspar, create a particularly harmonious overall appearance and excellent light quality.
