The Bouquet floor lamp with pleated lampshade The Bouquet floor lamp was designed by Sinja Svarrer Damkjær, a young designer specialising in industrial design. The inspiration for this series of lamps came to her at an Italian weekly market, namely from tulips that fall in gentle curves. The Bouquet floor lamp also has a clearly shaped lampshade that resembles a tulip in form and rises elegantly on a Filigran rod from the round base with oak wood detail. The pleated shade made of special hand-folded foil has a translucent surface that emits a soft, pleasant light all around and creates a cosy atmosphere. LE KLINT is a Danish company that is known worldwide for the craftsmanship of the pleated lampshades by company founder P. V. Jensen-Klint. The lighting company was founded in 1943 and works with young designers who for generations have known how to combine tradition and craftsmanship with today's technologies, thus consolidating LE KLINT's values in their works of art. LE KLINT's folding techniques are something very special. Only at LE KLINT in Odense, Denmark is the folding of lampshades preserved as a craft and only here are cross-pleated lampshades produced.
