Already in the middle of the last century, a Danish family of architects founded a company in which lampshades were produced by hand. In the process, a special folding technique was used that still cannot be mastered by machines today. Therefore, the lamps of the manufacturer are still folded by hand, also the one of the Snowdrop table lamp. This makes each lamp a unique piece. In the Danish lighting company Le Klint, traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern production. Until today, some models from the early years of the company history are popular lamps and still bestsellers. The production of the hand-folded lampshades takes place in Odense on the island of Funen.
