Fascinating Ardere floor lamp – real wood veneer olive wood

The Ardere floor lamp brings both cosiness and a natural flair to any room. It is the ideal floor lamp for creating atmospheric lighting in living rooms or bedrooms. Its body consists of spiral-shaped veneer slats made of olive wood, a wood that is very similar to that of the olive tree. It has a texture with alternating light and dark elements, which creates a very lively effect. Ardere can even be adjusted in height by a few centimetres in an original way: to do this, press down slightly on the top of the body with your hand so that the original tall and narrow shape becomes lower and slightly more oval. This also slightly enlarges the light outlet. To return Ardere to its previous shape, simply pull the body back up at the top so that the light becomes taller and narrower again with a smaller light output. Ardere creates a fascinating play of light towards the ceiling.

The veneer has been protected with a UV varnish to prevent fading from possible sunlight.

The Ardere floor lamp is handmade by the Cologne-based lighting company Gofurnit. Gofurnit manufactures lamps from sustainable materials and also attaches great importance to the conservation of natural resources in terms of packaging and distribution channels.

Ardere was nominated for the Green Product Award in 2021.
