Snowflake pendant lamp: detailed bamboo lamp by David Trubridge The idea for this fantastic pendant lamp came to the English furniture and lighting designer David Trubridge, who now lives in New Zealand, on a trip to Antarctica, where he was invited as a guest artist. The shade is made of repeating geometric patterns in the shape of a snowflake. The principle of the lamp's construction is the same as that of Trubridge's design classic Coral. He also used this thin bamboo veneer for Coral, thus creating the soft curvature when assembling the shade. David Trubridge does not only attach great importance to sustainability when choosing the materials for his creations, he also wants to ensure the lowest possible CO2 consumption when shipping his products. Therefore, the Snowflake pendant lamp is also delivered in individual parts. Precise instructions for easy assembly are included. The aesthetic Snowflake attracts all eyes when switched on and off. It is excellent as atmospheric table lighting, for example, but works wonderfully in any place as general or area lighting.
