Tecnolumen keeps the Bauhaus design alive

Das Bauhaus, the famous German design school during the Weimar Republic, still enjoys international recognition. It was founded in 1919 by Walter Gropius in Weimar, moved to Dessau in 1926 and 1932 to Berlin. 1933, the school was forced to close by the Nazis. Designers who emerged from the Bauhaus, among others, were Marianne Brandt, Wilhelm Wagenfeld or Josef Albers. They have created works of timeless beauty, which today are reproduced by Tecnolumen and are of highest quality.

Reproduction of the famous Wagenfeld Light

Tecnolumen has the exclusive rights to remake the famous Wagenfeld Light. The company is thus the only manufacturer worldwide of Wagenfeld Lights, also known as Bauhaus lamp because of its background. Further re-editions are, for example, the Bauhaus Teapot by Marianne Brandt or their ceiling lamp 1928/29.

"Form follows the function". Since its inception in 1980, the Bremen company Tecnolumen follows this credo of the Bauhaus and manufactures various objects with the highest standards of design. Each of the reproductions will be numbered and the authenticity evidenced by a stamp.
