During the day, the panel on the top side ensures that the sun's light is fed in and converted into electricity, which then makes the LEDs glow at night. The stepped reflector makes the light appear pleasant and quite effective.
In addition, a motion detector is built in that reacts when people approach. This ensures that you have a light quickly at night to help you find your way around. The sensor has a range of 6 metres, the light lasts for 25 seconds and the detection angle is 90 degrees. When no movement is detected, Kalypso provides a basic brightness of 15 lumens after dark, so that a night light is always available.
