The chain of lights is connected to the amorphous solar module via a 2-metre long cable, so that the module can be positioned ideally towards the sun. It supplies the integrated battery with energy during the day. This in turn supplies the LEDs integrated in the spheres with power and makes them shine for up to 10 hours. A twilight sensor built into the panel automatically switches the chain of lights on at dusk and off again when it gets light or the battery is exhausted.

The light chain can be used outdoors all year round because it is protected against water and dirt with IP44 protection. It can be switched to continuous light or flashing light using the switch on the solar module.
