Wall lamp Veneria - handmade from cherry veneer

The Veneria wall lamp can also be used as a ceiling lamp and is particularly suitable for atmospheric additional lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and corridors. Even when unlit, this fantastic light source stands out: the veneer slats - alternating wider with narrower strips - are very carefully selected and hand-formed into the decorative spiral shape. The light emission then impressively brings out the beautiful shape. The light is emitted indirectly and without glare from the inside.

A light source inspired by the Fibonacci sequences found in nature, which contributes decisively to a homely ambience.

The renewable raw material wood is the basic material from which the lights of the lighting company Gofurnit from Cologne, founded in 2019 by Manuel Döpper, are made. A special veneer with a robust fabric structure is used for this purpose. Against the possible fading due to sunlight, the veneer was provided with a UV varnish.

Gofurnit focuses its work on the production of high-quality lamps from sustainably obtained materials, and also in the packaging, through a precise selection of the packaging material, attention is paid to the conservation of resources.
