Careful, don't touch! Designer floor lamp Don't Touch The unusual design of the Don't Touch LED floor lamp literally tempts you to touch it. This is exactly what the light is intended to evoke in the viewer - reinforced by the negatively worded name "Don't Touch". Prohibitions have a tendency to trigger exactly what should actually be avoided. This is also the case with this object from the designer light manufacturer Karman from the small town of Fossombrone in central Italy. While lights usually only appeal to one of the five senses, namely sight, designer Matteo Ugolini deliberately chose to appeal to the sense of touch with Don't Touch. After all, what you see sometimes needs to be revised by the additional experience of touch. This is also the case with the Don't Touch floor lamp. At first glance, the rods that form the lampshade look like reeds or cane from which baskets are woven. When you touch the rods, you realise that they are made of plastic, and the flexibility of these rods makes it possible to change the Form of the lampshade. The upper ends of the rods can be tied together with a silicone ring (included). No matter which shade shape you choose, the lighting effect is particularly cosy due to the fact that the light falls from the bottom upwards through this soft veil of rods.
