Foscarini MyLight Chouchin 1 LED pendant light, modern, controllable via Bluetooth and Casambi The modern Chouchin 1 LED pendant light is one of three models in the Chouchin luminaire family from Foscarini. The French designer Ionna Vautrin is responsible for its design, which was inspired by traditional lanterns from Japan. These lanterns come in a variety of shapes and colours and are often still used today as a symbol of good luck. Chouchin uses the typical shapes, which are made from mouth-blown glass. The lacquered exterior displays intense, brilliant colours that do not let any light through. This is only emitted directly through an opening on the underside, making the Chouchin 1 LED pendant light ideal for table or counter lighting. The special feature of the MyLight version is that the light can be controlled using Bluetooth technology. A Casambi module is built into the light for this purpose, which ensures that the Chouchin 1 LED pendant light can be conveniently switched on or off using your own smartphone or tablet, as well as being switched simultaneously with other networked lights.
