Its delicate appearance and the cosy ambient light emanating from the table lamp give it a feeling of intimacy. The bulbously shaped base is made of ceramic and has a shiny, coloured surface. It carries the handmade shade made of linen, which shines in a natural, white shade and makes the light appear even warmer and softer. The overall look is decoratively underlined with deliberately placed details made of steel. On the head of the shade, there is a brass-coated button with which the light can not only be switched on and off, but also changed in brightness in three steps.Torso is equipped with a rechargeable battery and can therefore be used absolutely flexibly in the living area. A USB port is integrated under the base, through which the battery can be charged with the help of the USB charging cable. To extend the battery life, the table lamp should be switched off when charging and should not be plugged in during use.The Torso Portable Table Lamp is designed by Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen and is the miniature version of the popular large table lamp with the same name. The Copenhagen-based design studio creates furniture and furnishings for clients around the world. It was founded in 2016 by Mads Sætter-Lassen and Emil Krøyer.
